It seems that most of the sessions in London are inactive, so I thought I'd brave the distaste of Jeremy and announce that I will be in London this coming week! I plan to attend the Eastbourne Lammas Festival on Saturday. I will be staying at the Arosfa Hotel in Bloomsbury before flying to the Shetland Islands Fiddle Frenzy. If somewhere in these travels I can meet up with fellow denizens of the mustard board, excellent!
Don't just fly over us! You would miss some great tunes in Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Perth/Dundee area. If you are in those areas drop me a line. If not BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Sadly, No Cause, not this trip. Maybe once Obama gets things back in order, the exchange rates will be more civilized, and a trip abroad doesn't have to be a rarity. I would love to check out the sessions in any of those areas.
The Crown in Cricklewood, 7-10 on Fridays and 4-6 on Sundays. (probably easiest by bus)
O'Sullivans in Wealdstone on Sundays 8-11 (Close to Harrow and Wealdstone station Northern end of the Bakerloo line)
Flying Off to London and Northward
Flying Off to London and Northward
