We did a video using Dusty Windowsill thinking it was trad because of it's popularity at sessions. I've since credited John Harling of Chicago as writing the tune after reading info at this site but I would like to right and contact him about the use of the tune. Ideas?
If you read the comments to the tune here http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/29
you'll find two posts by Jeremy which contain cut-and-pasted text from emails that he received directly from Jessica Harling, Johnny's daughter, regarding this tune. If Jeremy still has her email address, he should be able to track down the man himself.

You could try reaching him through zonakimona, a member here (http://www.thesession.org/members/display/4623), who once played in a band with Mr. Harling.
Or google.

Google turns up a John Harling in Grayslake, just north of Chicago. Gives an address and phone number.
