A name based on a gerund - i.e., an activity presented as a noun: The Waulking O' The Fauld is a Scottish example.

The gerund, and any object it may have, must be words of an outlandish nature whose meaning is hid from all but a vanishingly small number of people, to whom this is handed down like the Horseman's Word from one generation to another.

I just can't think of an Irish example now - maybe they're more frequent in Scottish and Shetland music (Aandowin' At Da Bow, anyone...?).

The following are cool in tune names:

People gathered under a curious name for an obscure purpose (The Kinnegad Slashers, e.g.);

Fauna, often being molested (Shave The Donkey, Wren hunting tunes, etc.; The Otter's Holt, The Weasel In The Dyke, etc.);

Old-world clothing or personal accessories (The Old Torn Petticoat, Jackson's Morning Brush, The Old Caubeen, etc.);

Prisons and seats of judgment (Tralee Gaol, The Four Courts, e.g.);

Loads of session pubs that have long ceased to exist as such, or at all;

Amiable features of rural life (The Lark In The Morning, The Geese In The Bog, The Green Meadow, etc.);

- and plenty more I can't think of immediately.
