just to put it in context, Gunter has been the most serious vintage banjo dealer in Europe since the early 70's - he sourced many of the stunning instruments for Akira Tsumura which later appeared in "1001 Banjos"
he does make it clear that he no longer owns most of the banjos in the gallery of pictures - they are, as much as anything, a record of his professional success in finding the rarest banjos in the world for the most prolific (& wealthiest!) collector there ever was .......
there are few dealers even in the USA who could surpass the breadth of instruments handled by Gunter
I believe that he is now semi-retired - but if you really wanted something super-rare, it wouldn't hurt to give him a call .... as long you had the money to back it up ...
