I can't keep up even now without adding on
"microblogging". I have zero facebook friends and I've got
no regular-size macroblog. I never use SMS - I don't have nextG
-- man alive, I'm a dinosaur, even though I run a web site with
RSS feeds and AJAX in it.

Huh? Wow I'm not with it anymore (and I'm like you, mhuppert, I do websites with PHP, MySQL, and HTML)...

Micro-blogging is little updates as to what you're doing. If you were silly enough, you could blog every tune set that you play in a session from your cell phone.

Oh, and Twitter helped save that American student that got arrested in Egypt recently, because he twittered the word "arrested", and that got his friends looking for him, and got some international pressure to release him into motion.
