As posted by Josh Kane back in 2001, there's "The Fairy Dance", some versions of which get fairly dynamic and could easily approximate your ABC fragment -- I found it by googling on the fragment, at which point I said to myself, well of course, that must be it...or maybe not...---pgm :

name of tune!
I heard a really nice tune recently and I was wondering does anyone know the name of it.
All i can remember is that it was a Reel in A major(i think) and the start of the 2nd part went something like:
aAAA g#AAA| fAAA efed | cABc d3~f |
Does any one have any ideas?? I know im very vague
