Did ye see the fleadh?

Dia dhuit

I enjoyed the programme on rte Friday night, I was particularly impressed with Brian Cowan, great timing I must say! I also enjoyed the jigs by the dogs!

Re: Did ye see the fleadh?

Brian Cowen was the best thing on it. As usual it was boring! boring! boring! Only good piece really was the presenter playing her whistle with the 7 box players in the beer garden. That session is what fleadh is all about. That was not set up for the camera, it was totally impromptu and music was not played at 100 miles an hour. Mind you this was also the shortest piece they showed!

Re: Did ye see the fleadh?

I have really high standards, what can I say. And this programme didn't live up to them.

Re: Did ye see the fleadh?

Unfortunately I missed this programme and like Balledfan, I'd very much appreciate any information on a link to it. As for bullwall, if the likes of Four Men and a Dog don't match your "high standards" then I'd have to say you must come from a different planet to most of us. Roll on next Friday!!
