I've checked out transcribe! but I'm afraid it doesn't deal with midi files(!) any other suggestions?
actually I don't know if it's the software or the dowloading that went wrong.
can you burn your downloads?

You can get TablEdit at http://www.tabledit.com/ This program can import both MIDI and ABC files, and allows you to change the relative speed of the playback.
