Those tunes are all quite special and rarely played. Sorry for that little "Quiz" with not much elements, but all my research on all engines has been in vain.
Someone is bound to take on the challenge. Me, I've more than that to transcribe tonight, and several other projects going. But, I did play them all, but they didn't take me anywhere I thought would be of any use. So, if nothing else, tell us the story behind these 10. Where are they from, and why are you so eager to drive us nuts with so little to go on? Are you feeling in a need to wind others up? Maybe you had a burst pipe in the house and that aggravation has you wanting to share it?
The fact that you give us so little to go on makes it very difficult. On first glance I did recognise no. 3 as one I posted quite recently http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/7087. Are all these tunes from the same session, with fiddlers playing? If so, there's a chance that they might be Kane sisters fans, in which case you might find some of these tunes on their albums. I could probably help you further, but not with only like 4 notes of each tune...

If no.7 turns out to be a Liz Carroll tune, then no. 8 is more likely to be another one of hers called The Golden Legs. I don't think it's on the database.
Sorry Ceol, I forgot the little story, that's true.
Mostly those tunes are coming from the sessions of "The Bono(56, France) Festival", and 2 of them from the playing of Tola Custy (6 and 7) there. I trail too some of them behind for a long time and never heard them again, if I'm not the first to play them in savant sessions (what a good English). Thanks Dow for playing the game. Thanks Ceol to not erase it.
Me erase it, never!!! My powers are limited. I have enjoyed watching it develop... There's too much in the soup of my brain to handel 10 on the trot. Dow is more 'organized', when his brain cells aren't being affected by outside influences...
Z, you can now help us further, check the links and see if any of the guessing is right. If it is, let us know which ones, and if it isn't that would also be worth knowing... I don't know any of Liz's tunes except to have heard them, so I'd have been useless there anyway. That one, #4, is still a niggle I can't seem to escape...
This has been fun, but, please, don't make a habit of it. Once at a time, or a few, alright, but 10 is a lot, and especially with so little. Most folks that ask for this kind of help either link us to a recording or give us the whole tune, or, at the least, one complete part.
Don't forget to let us know if any of those listed above are correct....

I think you were right when you said that they were "all quite special and rarely played". I don't know what the others are but I'd say they're almost definitely all modern compositions. Some day you'll come across the source recordings for the tunes, and I'd bet you they're compositions by people like Sean Ryan, Tommy Peoples, Liz Carroll, Jackie Daly, Joe Liddy etc..
#4 especially has that modern twist. That's why I thought Liz Carroll. Someone who plays fiddle and composes radge tunes. Could be wrong, but that's my gut feeling.
