Received from Abbie Mulvihill - a List of Brendan's Upcoming Gigs
To Avi in Particular, and others who might be interested......I got an E-mail from Abbie Mulvihill last night listing some of Brendan's upcoming gigs. Avi, as you see, one of these is in New Jersey. Hope this is helpful to you. Linda
"Hi Linda,
One of my feeds on Brendan picked up your Session discussion, "Brendan Mulvihill Gets His Greatly Deserved Recognition." Sean is right about the Nanny's gig on 4/3. Since there seems to be a real interest in hearing Brendan play, here are some upcoming public gigs:
3/14 at 7pm - Ceilidh (I think with Jesse Winch) at St. John the Evangelist School in Silver Spring, MD for Sean Culkin

Brendan will be doing fiddle workshops at the CCE Convention on that Saturday, March 29 as part of the overall workshop program put together for the annual Music and Cance Weekend by CCE North America. There is lots of great music and sessions the weekend long.

btw Linda, I took your advice and got a copy of The Morning Dew. Very impressive!! i love melodic variations (John Carty for example) and Brendan is quite free with them, while still maintaining the integrity of the tune. That's one sign of greatness.

He's going to be playing 3/2 at the Old Brogue in McLean, VA with Tina Eck on flute & whistle, Betsy O'Malley, tenor banjo, whistle, and vocals and Jesse Winch, bodhrán, mandola, guitar, and harmonica.

It's been a while since I've talked to Brenden. Do you have a contact e-mail for him?

I was wondering, if you're in contact with Brendan, if he ever plans on doing another recording?

Re: Received from Abbie Mulvihill - a List of Brendan's Upcoming Gigs
I asked Brendan last week if he ever planned to record again and unfortunately, he said no.
