The Session >> Discussions >> On the hunt for tune name...
Hello to all! Any help you can offer to name this tune would be greatly appreciated....It is a snappy little jig for sure. I picked up a few months ago in a lovely session in NY. Possible it might be played in another key typically? X: 1 T: ? What Is My Name? It's in G rather than Ador, but I don't know it, I'm afraid ...

Probably a version of Maid at the Well: http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/752

I looked at Maid at the Well first off, but it seemed like a close cousin at best. Before I post this variant, anyone else have any guesses?
I'd post it in the 'comments', rather than risk deletion... To me it isn't significantly different from "Maid at the Well", it misses the second ending is all, but it's the same 32 bar tune, without any doubt on my part...
