Harp Tunes for the Fleadh

Harp Tunes for the Fleadh

I'm participating in my first Fleadh this April on harp.
I'm looking for a good hornpipe. Any suggestions?

The other tunes I'm looking to play are: Flying to the Fleadh, Port na bPucai and was considering Lord Mayo.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Harp Tunes for the Fleadh

The Flowing Tide might sound nice.

(I also think it's a tune that could go very well slowed down to something like a slow reel pace.)

Re: Harp Tunes for the Fleadh

If you wanted a bit of a dramatic piece somewhere in there you could try Bess King's Hornpipe.

I've got quite a few good hornpipes for harp but they can be quite tricky depending on what level you are on.

I'm not familiar with Bess King's Hornpipe. Does anyone know where I could find a recording?
