Speaking of Catskills Irish Arts Week

Speaking of Catskills Irish Arts Week

Wow, what an amazing musical lineup this year! It even includes Alec Finn, Johnny McDonough from DeDanaan, and other legendary players! Too many to mention, the workshop teachers are up at the site now for the most part, and they have extended early registration for a discount until March 1st.

The site is at:
http://www.east-durham.org/irishartsweek/index.htm

Make sure you check out Tim Raab's amazing photo and sound clip display too at the site. 2005 and 2006 are up there and 2007 will be ready in a week or two. I could spend hours looking at these!

This is something that should not be missed! Total immersion in the music for a week.

Re: Speaking of Catskills Irish Arts Week

Well technically East Durham is a hamlet of the town of Durham, NY

:-P

It's too bad, though, that the most of the accomodations in the area are so out-dated and in some cases, run down.

Molly-Mo.... outdated a bit, yes, but quite habitable, most people are soooo tired once they hit their rooms, it's out like a light! LOL! Sleep like a log, wake up and run out to find all the music and workshops again the next morning.
