Well, there's already MySpace, YouTube and Facebook for the visual stuff. Whatever next- video bios on the Mustard?- I think not
I may be wrong but, given the preponderance of lurkers to contributors, I suspect many of us here are quite happy being 'ghosts' - and that, when we speak, we are happy enough speaking to the minds of other notional beings, rather than photos of faces. Would a photo actually enable us to get to know each other better? I doubt it, though it might be interesting to do an occasional tally of beards

why not make a thread for people to put a link to a photo of themselves...it means we will no longer be ghosts to each other, with the added bonus that the thread will soon be buried in the archives of history.

Some guesses:
1. 40,000 member photos would take quite a bit of space.
2. The site might be charged for internet access based on how much data is transfered.
3. People could post inappropriate images which would be a nightmare for Jeremy to locate and remove.

KML's suggestion is probably the best. That, or similar, would certainly take the pressure off this site and Jeremy. I adopted it when I couldn't work out how to put still photos on YouTube.

Poor guy. He's obviously got his beard stuck to the back of the fiddle with super glue and its going to hurt like the dickens to yank it free. You can see that expression on his face, he's wondering how much beard hair will be left on his chin when he's done. Lovely old fiddle he's got there too. Loverly!

I think Clear Drops nailed it, that poor gent is definitely suffering from a super glue, beard and fiddle issue. Yikes.

rob, that could be our own dear Mr. Llig, good call. I always thought of him like myself though, as I believe he said he has little kids also; sort of a middle-aged guy working towards the old and cantankerous thing.
