Some time ago I acquired a 'Russian System' 3-row chromatic button accordion. (Notes in each row are a minor third apart). Does anyone know if there's a book or some sort of learner's manual for this instrument?
Hey Bazza
If your keyboard is tuned to the same pitch as the bottom three rows of the B-system keyboard layout diagram on the following site, the tutor there should be a big help in getting you started. http://www.thecipher.com/chromatic-accordion-cipher.html
I play ITM on a 3 row C system - a mirror image of yours? If there's anything you think I could help with just send me a pm

dear groxburgh,
with joy I read that you play ITM on the chromatic C system, wh9ch is the same that I play as well. I would very much appreciate some help in fingering, ornamentation and so on (especially ornamentation techniques to make it sound more irish on the chromatic).
