Looking for "Learn To Play the Irish Fiddle" sheet music

Looking for "Learn To Play the Irish Fiddle" sheet music

Some years ago I bought those really nice tapes featuring Kevin Burke, from Homespun. Sadly, I have lost the sheet music that came with it (both videos 1 and 2).

Anyone have them on a computer readable form? (PDF, jpg, bmp, etc...) If so, please be kind and post to me.

I offer a pint of beer as a payment, next time you are in Iceland :-)

middlefaster,
Contact Homespun, they will generally send you the sheet music. They are a very good company to deal with.

I like your username, middlefaster.

Whilst you're waiting for the sheet music to arrive, have a go at playing the tunes by ear. You won't regret it. It will set you on the path to despoonerism.

Re: Looking for "Learn To Play the Irish Fiddle" sheet music

I sent Homespun a query for the music. They said they would send me the sheets right away! I always liked that company, and this is definetly a proof they they care about their customers.

NCRC: Thanks for the comment. I usually learn tunes by ear and have been doing for years. I find it a good help to have the sheet music too, but I only use it as a reference or a "cheat sheet" ...
But in this case, they have bowings marked and slurs. I found that a good guide too, even though I might decide to bow differently.

Thanks for the help!

Another blatant plug for Homespun. I bought the 6-CD Parking Lot Picker Series. I emailed them that the 6th CD was faulty. Based on that one email, I had a replacement within a week. Good company.
