Over a year since I got to a session. Was asked along to a new local one... joined in with a load of really fab players, started a few sets off, fluffed as many; but I'd just like to say I'm feeling fantastic and inspired to learn some more tunes again. There's nothing like joining a session is there...? I mean, aren't we lucky to be able to take part in such a thing?
Karaoke and other such pass-times come nowhere near it.
Great feeling! I always felt that striking the right mood ( vibe in another genre!) at a session is the Bees Knees. it beats the pants off anything else.
Feeling fantastic!

Re: Feeling fantastic!
It sounds like you've found a good group to play with!
That's always a great thing. May it always go well for you.

Ah... I remember my first session. Nice mix of boxes, banjoes
and fiddles. Good times.
... Forgot to mention, two bodhran players that actually played in time with each other.
