request for tune name help

I have a hornpipe in Dmix that I've been trying to find in the ABCs with no luck. Anybody know this one?
z6 g3/2a/ | b3/2g/ d3/2B/ G3/2B/ d3/2g/ | ^f3/2e/ c3/2A/ E2 f3/2e/ | d3/2c/ A3/2^F/ D3/2c/ B3/2A/ | \
G3/2(3^F (3GAB (3cde (3^fga | b3/2g/ d3/2B/ G3/2B/ d3/2g/
... and so on. The source I got it from says it's "A hornpipe in G & D" with no other info. Any help.

It's Lass on the Strand: http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/5241

When you search for a tune in ABC notation, leave off all the extraneous numerals. You're more likely to come up with a hit if you keep it simple. E.g., compare your abcs above to the version posted here as tune 5241.

Heh, I love this site. Where else can a guy in Wyoming get an answer from a guy in Montana about a Scots tune posted by a guy in Antrim all in one breath? :o)

That's the one. Thanks puddy tat! And I'll keep your advice in mind for future searches. Maybe that's why I've never had much luck with finding ABCs.

Not cold enough. We're expecting high 50s (F) and even low 60s all week. "Tropical Montana." :o)

Phew! That IS warm. We're around the high 20's, low 30's, and it's only getting colder. Good weather to stay inside and play music.

That version and title seem to come from O'Neill's. See this entry in the Fiddler's Companion:

BELFAST HORNPIPE [2]. Irish, Hornpipe. G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part). Standard tuning. AABB. Yep, that's a better fit.

But most people know the "Belfast" as that other hornpipe: http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/4 (a three-parter in D).
