Does anyone know of any public ceili/ceilidh in glasgow on Nov 30th?
A student from my old work is graduating and has about a dozen relatives coming over from Iceland. He'd like to take the family to a ceildh, but the Riverside has shut down. He's asked if I can find out if anything is on. At a pinch I could maybe get some folks together to play for them (bad night tho' being St Andrews) but they don't have a venue arranged and they'd need a bigger crowd to have a successful ceilidh. It would be simpler to find a pre-existing event that he could buy tickets for.
I've already passed on the details about the free open air (i.e. rained on) event in Georges Square, but ideally he'd be looking for something indoors.
