Oi! Waddya mean "was"? FC are still going strong, and celebrating their 40th birthday this year...
Flatback Caper is a medley of the following tunes:- Miss Susan Cooper [Ronald Cooper] / The Friar's Britches [Trad.] / The Sport Of The Chase [Trad.] / Carolan's Concerto [O'Carolan]
BTW, I'd take issue with what that website claims are the tunes in the Dirty Linen medley on the same album (Full House) - the first two are surely Paddy be Aisy and Merry Blacksmith?
Sorry, DavyR- JUst listened to it to refresh my aging memory-it it is indeed Freeze Britches, played along with it and made the same mistakes that I seem to do with that tune. Need to go listen to the abc of the other pieces.
Name that reel and slip jig
Name that reel and slip jig
Please help to name the reel that starts this set and the slip jig in the middle. What a cool group FC was.
