Are there any members of this site who live on the Gold Coast ?(SE Queensland, Australia for those who don't recognise the location)
I've just moved work to Tugun, just north of the NSW border, and am likely to be here for a few months. I've been here four days and am already suffering withdrawal symptoms.
I've done a search on the Members & Sessions areas of the site, but haven't been able to locate anyone or anything in this area.
Surely it can't be a total ITM desert?
Anyone know of any local events or want to meet up for a few chunes?

I once saw a guy down there once sitting on a surfboard playing a bodran.
You missed a nice little cosy session last Saturday I fear. You a sorely missed.

I hopefully (fingers crossed!) move my stuff to near Nimbin on Friday, but my work is on the Gold Coast just at present.
Have to juggle the weekends to suit - moving this weekend, Neurum Creek festival next weekend, work on the property the weekend after....now what have I forgotten?
A mid week tune fest would cheer up the long hours away from the family, though.

I thought you were moving to Nimbin or thereabouts, the few Gold Coast players I know go to Brisbane for a sesh.
