Hi folks,
I ordered a whistle from Tony Dixon more than a month ago and it still hasn't arrived. OK, it's holiday... But that's not all. I send two emails to the company already, but sofar no reply. However, my money has reached their account succesfully... I must say I'm getting quite worried and upset I've ordered a flute a year ago and it arrived within a week. So I'm wondering if there's something happening in the company or if they haven't bankrupted or something... Please, tell me if you know anything about them or if you've had a similar experience...

I've had nothing but good experiences with Tony - he usually returns emails within a couple of days at most. My guess is that he is on holiday. Did you pay by check or another means (anything other than cash or check is likely automated and deposited without any human intervention)?

I had to wait a while for an order I placed. And that was more than a month, if I recall. But I got it eventually. At the time he was working on his own, with no help.
He *is* to be trusted.
As Eric says, keep waiting a bit longer.

I payed with the payment form for on his web pages. I'm not used to internet shoping, really, so that's why I'm a bit nervous. But thanks, I'll definitely wait longer - what else can I do

As a customer, I have had nothing but good, prompt service and courteous helpful correspondance from Tony thus far.
I own several of his instruments, and would be much surprised by anyone with a different story to tell. Hang in there, I would expect nothing bad has happened.
As said above by others, about a month or so was about right for my orders.

I finally managed to get through on the phone and it looks like my order got lost and Tony Dixon received no emails from me. I was told that normally I should have got the whistle weeks ago.
So it should get sorted out soon...

Hey Barbara, even the best outfits are subject to some human-error. I'm glad your persistence lead to a good outcome. I have always found Tony to be a true gentleman who cares about his customers.
