my birthday present

im over the moon.i got for my birthday low whistle,for what i was desiring so long!such a lovely smooth velvet sound!im really in love with it.but the thing is,even if i do my best,i cant cover every holes on instrument.i can cover five,but the lowest hole i cant.does it mean,that not everybody can play it?do i have to short fingers,or is it just a problem about wrong holding it?im so sad.

You'll learn what we call the "piper grip", I play myself the low whistle, and it takes a little time to practice, but don't worry and TRY it yourself !

guys i do my best,but still nothing.but probably everybody has his own way of holding the instrument.but thank you for help, i will not give up! only over my dead body!!! :) luska

guys i was thinkig about,exist so many types of low whistles made from so many diferent materials,cant be the distance among the holes on every types of low whistle slightly diferent?i mean like a shorter or longer?maybe my low whistle just isnt my type?and also its quite heavy.how do you hold it in mouth,when every holes are not covert,do you bite it?
