I can't wait for miltown this year I'm going to head up Sunday or Monday and stay until my money is gone. Leaving from Cork so if anyone needs a lift let me know theres room and tunes in the car.I'm going to take in as much scenary as possible over the week and hopefully get a few nice photos of the coast for the house (what a beautiful Country Ireland is).Just to be able to wonder around from session to session meeting the best of people and hearing the best of tunes .Oh and the pints the creamy pints we can't forget the pints (my only vice).Looking Forward to the sess. org sess. on Wednesday @ 3 pm in the Central hope I'm not the only one there and sure if I am who cares I'm on my holidays.Roll on next week.
Regards Eddie
Hi Eddie,I'm coming over for the week and I'll bring my banjo along.I'm hoping to attend the classes and get the wife into the step dancing classes !! Hope to meet you in the Central on Wed. Slan, Ian
Plan here is to stay as dry as possible whilst camping which is looking rather improbable given the fact that the rain keeps p#ssing down this 'summer', day after day!!!! Mind you, it can't rain every day, all day ... can it?
Hi Llibert, we have camped out at Spanish Point in Lahiff's by post office, though unless he has done something about the entrance to his camping field, it'll probably require a tank to get in and out if it stays this wet.
On a separate note, I see the fee for lessons has gone up to Euro140 this year, kids and adults alike. Getting kinda steep for group lessons with 10 other people, especially when Joe Mooney are still at half that cost and cheaper again for children. Hmm, maybe there's a premium to fund the new community hall that is built or being built??
well eddie, ill see you there. or if i dont you'll probably see me. so if im lying in the ditch somewhere on the side of the road, dont hesitate to give me a couple of slaps. ; )
I'm leaving in about an hour! Can't wait.
Going to take it easy tomorrow, checking out the various pubs. On Sunday I'll probably go to the graveside tribute - it's always a bit special and the week wouldn't be the same if I couldn't make it.
I'm staying next door to the post office; very handy for staggering home.
See you all on Wednesday - I'm the one with the baldy head and the black accordion.

Oh man, I'm feeling really envious now! Can't make it this year. Have a great time whoever's going, and have one for me!

I think the wind will prove more of a problem for the campers over the next few days with 90 km/h gusts forecast.
Last wednesday afternoon some lost looking US strangers wandered into the Markethouse to enquire at what time the music would start.
The same day the first mobile chipper took up it's parking space.

People Ireland is even more beautiful in this wheather and a bit of wind and rain is n't going to spoil my holiday.
