I'll be in London for a few days next week visiting family and siteseeing. I've been compiling notes on sessions in case I can get away for an evening or two.
A friend had mentioned a Thursday session at the Cobden Arms in Camden, and it's been mentioned a few times in discussions, like here: http://www.thesession.org/discussions/display/13701. But I couldn't find a listing for it in the sessions section. Perhaps it's listed under another name? If not, details as to location and time would be appreciated.
The only time we went down there we were thrown out by the management because there were so many musicians there already they were worried about blocking the exits.
So, I guess, get there early.
It's not a bad session, although when I went, Brian Kelly thought I played Colonal Frasers too fast... which fair play to him i did. But it sounded fecking good tho
