Festival.

Festival.

I don't want to go off-subject as this is *thesession*, but I never really hear much about festivals.

I usually manage to come back from festivals feeling kind of guilty that I've managed little more than a few workshops and a handful of concerts but a heck of a lot more time in the corner of a pub or at the equivalent of an LNE.

There's also increasingly more to do at festivals nowadays, so what would attract you to one?
Worst/best experiences of festivals so far?

Re: Festival.

Cait, what geographical area are you talking about? And what is an LNE? Define your terms and let battle commence.

Re: Festival.

LNE? Is it something to do with ITM? I've noticed a few mutants of ITM (Irish Traditional Music) have been created on this site: ETM - English Traditional Music, STM - Scottish Traditional Music.
These have escaped and invaded other sites to further mutate into WTM - Welsh Traditional Music, and so on.

What about Scottish-Hybridised-Irish-Traditional-English ?
Or Foreign Useless Crap.....

and so on..

Re: Festival.

LNE - Late Night Extra

Sorry about that. It's basically a ceilidh/"global dance" which occurs once all the sane people have gone to bed. Generally at the top of a hill, metres from the beer tent.

Geographical area... Anywhere.
