I searched for the link to check that it hadn't been posted before, so I'm still none the wiser as to the tunes being played.
Can anyone give me the names for them? http://youtube.com/watch?v=MQJu8PO0eXQ
Thanks.
Definitely Otter's Holt and another name for the second one would be the Old Blackthorn, although normally it's played as a single reel. Nice music though and great to see Academia using trad - this is always the case at NUI Galway where Dordán (Mary Bergin, Kathleen Loughnane and friends) have featured at graduation ceremonies for a number of years.
Sorry to go off on a tangent, but--what's with the audience? Most of them look, well, catatonic. (You know, "The lights are on, but nobody's home.") Is that what a Scottish education does to a person?
Tune Names Please?

This lovely fiddler also has the courtesy to provide the dots for the tunes, if you want to compare notes ~
