If I search the 100s of ABC files I've got cluttering up my computer I find this one (searching for that G triplet). Any good? Sounds somewhat like it:

Yep it's the Scottish Concerto - Thanks Pere
I must have heard it from the Lunasa album and it's been rattling round in my head since
I just had to write down the bit I knew and hope someone like you would recognise it
I will now make the effort to learn it - it's a great tune - but then it is a Charlie Lennon tune !
PS - the tune Boston O'Connor is also a good one so thanks Richard for that
Cheers
Hey Derek, you seem to know every tune going - im suprised theres room for anything to rattle around in your head. Did you get that DB banjo in the end?
There's alway's room for more good tunes, it just takes me longer to remember them these days
I did indeed take delivery of an awesome Dave Boyle Tenor in March and it is fabulous - I went to Dublin to collect it and even booked it it's own seat to come home - couldn't face putting it in the hold before i'd even played it (apart from half hour in Dublin Airport Bar with Dave to try it out)
I'll see you at a festival soon, (Chippenham, Wimborne or Sidmouth ?) and you can see for yourself - you can try it it you can get me to put it down long enough
Cheers
