BTW, A on your low G string is written "A," i.e. A with a comma after it. Barlines are | not /. A held note is A2, not A^. That ^ is the sharp sign in abc, so your transcription is confusing to read. Seriously your abc is almost there - you might as well put the effort in and learn it properly. It'd take you like 5 minutes.
So here's why learning abc is such a useful thing: if I redo the 1st line of your abc A,DFD EDEG|ADFD EDB,D|A,DFD EDEG|dBAF E2DB,| I can then cut & paste that whole 1st line into Google, and lo and behold, I find your tune. 2nd hit.
Name of this Reel in D, please?
Name of this Reel in D, please?
Here is the ABC notation.
The A's in the measues 1, 3, 5, 7, 15 and the B's in the measures 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 14, 15 are on G string.
ADFD EDEG / ADFD EDBD / ADFD EDEG / dBAF E DB
ADFD EDEG / ADFD EDBD / ADFD EDEG / dBAF DEDB :II
dedB A^ dB / A^ FD EDBD / dedB A^ de / fede f^ de
fd~ edBd / A^ FD EDBD / ADFD EDBD / dBAF D Ac :II
Anyone?

It's the D setting of the Coalminer's. See the comments section of this one http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/1617.

Re: Name of this Reel in D, please?
Thanks so much for the ABC tips.
Here is the question. I put "~" to mark a roll. Should I put it before or after a note?

Re: Name of this Reel in D, please?
before.
The best way to learn is to go to the tunes section and compare the abc and sheetmusic of different tunes.
