Not familiar with this town at all. Preliminary internet recce indicates probable site for immersion in gaeilge, craic agus ceol tradisiunta....cen sceal....
Letterfrack is in north west connamara. its above cliften, Gaeilge is;nt as plentyfull there as it would be in south connamara. Craic is good, particularly bog week. Regular weekend sessions in various pubs there. Plenty of carracters in the area aswell. While in Letterfrace I would advise a visit out to inish boffin at the weekend in the summer season. Craic and ceol can be excellent, but can get uncomfortable and overcrowded if there's a hen party or stag night or wedding on the island.

Mary Shannon plays (banjo) Hounds of Letterfrack on one of Sharon Shannons records. I'll submit it to the session tunes, maybe this helps.
