I have finally bit the bullet and put together a web site (http:///www.mikekeyes.com) that has an Irish Banjo section in it. In addition there are sections on Mental Training for sports and some of my other interests. It is still in a developmental stage.
I have tunes, discussions of various aspects of the banjo, and links to all the Mel Bay lessons. I hope you enjoy it.
If you have any specific requests or interests, my email address is mikeyes@charter.net - I am not putting it on the site to avoid spamming for now.
Good onya Mike. I'll be checking in from time to time to see what's new, so best wishes with the site.
I owe you a pint or two. Your articles on posture and right hand techniques have helped me in the past when I found my playing at a standstill, so cheers again.
Well done MIke.I've always appreciated your honesty and wealth of info re banjo technique and vintage instruments. It would be great to have a site dedicated to the banjo and its involvement in the tradition. Best wishes

Re: Irish Banjo Web Site
'Mental training' ......... for Banjo players eh? ... that sounds about right
But seriously Mike, good luck with it. By the way, have you posted this in the 'Links' section here? I couldn't find it there!

Re: Irish Banjo Web Site
Thanks for the prompt, I forgot to do that until now.
Now, now, no more banjo mental jokes or I will rescind your aluminum foil hat privileges and the black helicopters will find you!
