Does anyone have the lyrics to "The Limerick Races", a song by the Wolfe Tones on their "Irish to the Core" CD? If so, would you be willing to share them with me?
This site is a treasure trove of authentic American Civil War music, a fair amount of it with Irish and Scottish relations. And if you find a piece with no date [n.d.] indicated, do a search on the publisher and city of publication, which will often indicate when they were in business.

Another song to the same tune, probably period for you is "Hunkydory". The publisher was the main publisher of penny song sheets during the Late Unpleasantness:
