I'm not sure if it was my internet connection or just some weird quirk but I seem to have lost a couple of threads. (Or I dreamt it) There was a thread about tunes to go with "Musical Priest" and it seems to be gone??? Is it gone for everybody or just me?
I don't know about that particular thread because I don't remember seeing it in the first place. But occasionally a submitted tune may vanish from the new tune list before its sheetmusic and midi appear. I think this is usually because Jeremy has spotted that the identical tune is already on the database. Also, I know of one recent instance where a new discussion thread vanished for a similar reason. Deletions of this nature are done for very good reasons, to avoid confusion and to enable the database to run smoothly.
I guess that means its gone for everybody. It all happened around a time when I couldn't get online because our server was too busy, then I could log on to the session and then things seemed to be missing. I think I'm actually missing a couple of posts from the POXY marathon as well. No big deal really, just curious if I have a problem
That particular thread hasn't disappeared. It has been moved. The comments now appear in the "tunes" section under The Musical Priest, which is where they belong.
Thanks Jeremy. I had just had one of those really bad computer days and everything seemed to happen at once and then stuff was missing... not just from this site but.... lets just say it was a bad day. Thanks again.
