Hi guys, im fairly new to this site, but i want to ask if anyone knew where i could get any contacts of feis musicians in britain. the reason i ask is that my dance school are organising our first feis and we need the contacts of many musicians and their rates, so we can sort through them and find what fits us and what we can afford.
Try to contact an Irish Centre, I'd suggest. I don't know if any exist in the East Midlands, but check out the "sessions" section of this website to see if any are located in Irish Centres in any of the big towns down there, like Derby, Nottingham, Leicester. I assume there's one in Birmingham. I know for sure there's one in Newcastle-upon-Tyne - obviously right out of your area but its details are in "sessions" under Newcastle, and if you couldn't find a nearer contact and got in touch with them, someone there might supply helpful details leading to contacts re. advice or players closer to where you live.
