Hi everyone! I'm looking for some flute tunes and I was wondering if any of you could help and recommend me some tunes which could suite for flute.
Thank you very much!
Anything by Josie McDermott (Salute to Baltimore, Trip to Birmingham, etc.) or Vincent Broderick (Tinker's Daughter, Rookery, etc.). Look for Josie's album or Broderick's album in the recordings section of this site and pretty much any of the tunes on the album are bound to suit your needs.
Paddy Taylor's tunes are lovely, too. "The Boy in the Gap" is my favorite tune to play on flute, period. However, I believe the album of the same name is out of print and scarcely available.
What are the greatest tunes for flute?

Why don't you browse beginning here: http://www.worldtrad.org/WFO_CD2.htm
and on thesession.org at http://www.thesession.org/recordings/index/search?name=wooden+flute&search_start=0
which will link to some of those tunes in the session database.
