I've been to a Grada concert in Slovenia,and they're great.Colin Farrell was playing with them,I believe he's just joined the band not so long ago.They're good guys,played a small session with them after the show,it was great.
yes I know Colin. He is not the actor, but indeed a great fiddle player and composer (and friend I reckon...are you reading this Colin?) from the Manchester scene (McGoldrick, John Joe Kelly, etc.). Did the MA in Irish Music in Limerick with me. Writes great tunes and is now playing with Grada. Another one of his tunes can be found on Kevin Crawfords 2nd solo album, its called "The First Pint".

A couple of his tunes are on flooks 'haven' and i really like them.
Judging by his tunes he could be scottish?

He is an amazing fiddle player from Manchester. Top class cumposer too. Heard him with Grada recently and they work very well with him!
