I must say this was news to me but maybe ye all know this already. I guess its not the sort of info that will greatly enhance your playing but........
Fascinating - I did read somewhere that mare's tail hair was inferior to stallion's because it gets more drenched with urine, but that this wasn't to be mentioned in mixed company.
