O.K. Justy - sorry about the humour. Try the J. Keenan web page. Ive just looked and there are links to accomodation. Would like to go myself -never been before but would love to sit in on the classes.
Take a tip from an old pro, buy a tent (£10), a sleeping bag (£6) and pitch it on the nearest field. If the law or the local church (same thing) try to move you, plead infringement of your human rights. Works everytime.
If you really need to stay in hotels, I can only assume that you are a middle class twerp who pretends to be a festival goer.
Look mate, festivals are about freedom and having fun, not creature comforts. See you there, mines the tent decked out in purple flowers with a haze of smoke billowing from the inside.
Don't be a woos, who needs a tent - just crash in a doorway or under a hedge!
But seriously, you can't miss this festival cause ...... Trraa Te Te Trra Te Te Trraaaaaaaaaa - the one & only 'Uncle Earl' will be there: http://www.myspace.com/uncleearl
strayaway, just to let you know, im not a middle class twerp pertending to be a festival goer. festival are the one thing i love. plus i hate those types of people. espicialy at the All-Ireland Fleadh. just down for the drink not the music them ones.
anyway, some of my family's going, our tent isn't big enough.
Thanks for clearing that up, I wasn't being offensive - you just never know these days. Take Glastonbury, used to be the real deal, now it's crammed with merchant bankers arriving in posh cars crammed full with aerosols!!! Have fun and do check out the hostels-usually brilliant value for money, if you can get in.
Sure thing, copo. Just keep an eye out for the purple haze. Are you experienced? coz the voodoo chile will be there at the burning of the midnight lamp!!
the festival is in longford town, many sessions in all the local pubs well into the early hours
The main events take place in the longford arms hotel and are worth every penny
hotel space will be rare
may see you there good luck
