It's between "Is Fada Liom Uaim Í" from the Portland album and "Lord Franklin". The combination of vocals, guitar, bouzouki and fiddle on Franklin is just so perfect.
One song I always liked was "Is Trua nach Bfhuil me in Eirinn" from the Bothy Band's first album. Or maybe "Tam Breoite Go Leor" from Skara Brae. Both songs could make me cry, though I don't know any Irish.
We don't have a single 'favourite' per se, but one we both love and often use in teaching dance is a fling set from the Portland album with Kevin Burke, and it includes some singing too:
Track 7: Lucy's Fling / S'iomadh Rud A Chunnaic Mi / Some Say the Devil is Dead
It also has that old-time play of starting out relaxed and then going up tempo, the way some of the old ceili bands like the McCuskers and the Pride of Erin in the North used to do it with some dances... The albums "Promenade" and "Portland" are amongst our favourites...
I havn't heard much of Michael's singing. I have only listened to him with the Bothy Band and a few times with Kevin Burke. But I love Casadh an tSúgáin. Fionnigula was something else too!!

I heard him in the pipers club one night, singing a great version of the banks of loch lomond. True passion and class. RIP
