Just to let any potential campers know that the space available for camping at the beach in Spanish Point will be DRASTICALLY reduced this year due to ongoing landscaping. The entire north part (the grassy bit by the monument to the King of Spain) is ploughed up and fenced off; other parts are fenced off for planting of sea grasses and the car park area has been reduced to allow for other "facilities". It is also lashing rain at the moment!
