I just heard this news: "a double CD of Junior Crehan, 'The Last House in Ballymakea' which has been put together from various sources by Junior's daughter"
This is awesome news! I understand that It will be launched at The Willie Clancy Summer School, then made available through an as yet to be named distributor.
That is indeed great news. It will be interesting to compare these recordings with Kevin Crehan's CD. I bought Kevin's CD and was quite surprised at the complexity of the music on there. I look forward to hearing Junior's take on these tunes.
